When I was a kid, I loved inventing and making things just as much as drawing, modeling and woodworking…
My parents helped me choose between the fine arts and engineering. So I became an engineer.
A good friend came along just as I was getting bored, and together we set up a product design agency: Exatiss-concept. It quickly went from strength to strength, thanks to some associate friends who enabled us to buy some very high-performance (but excessively expensive) CAD equipment.
Being the only designers (at the time) able to create 3D objects on computer, we became very convincing!
John BARRATT and Yann THIEBOLD joined the rapidly expanding team.
After several years of this frenetic pace, I left Paris for the Lot region, heading for Saint Laurent les Tours. I was still involved in product design, but also in home design, since the home was a product to be reinvented. And studies in sociology, with a special focus on new product research, with the inspiration and support of my friend Michel BOCCARA (sociology researcher at the CNRS).
