- Integration of technical constraints, in-depth knowledge of materials, their processing and industrial facilities. From pens to cars, hundreds of factories visited and know-how integrated.
- CAD: having started very early, I also discovered very early on the limits of computer-aided design: it’s a formidable tool for integrating dimensional and manufacturing constraints, and an excellent tool for researching shapes and visualization, but for certain projects nothing can replace the finesse of working by hand, to scale and in the material. So I’ve never given up on models and handmade prototypes. I work with both: I rough out digitally, refine by hand, scan and rework digitally.
- Teamwork: listening to and dialoguing with everyone involved: marketing, sales, technical, financial.
- Inventing, designing a new product, yes, but it’s a lot of investment, you can’t afford to fail!
Is there a recipe for success? Listening, intuition, harmony, balance, quality, intelligence, a good team, humility, courage…
