The idea: to build a home using free or very cheap materials. The result is an oval house made of load-bearing straw bales with a light green roof!
It’s beautiful and very pleasant to live in, summer and winter alike.
I spent 3 months working on the plans, making the crowns, dome, bay window and door, and organizing the site. Everything else was done in a participative project (Woofers, neighbors, apprentices), with or without me.
60 m2, €6,000 worth of materials. Completion: me 3 months, team of 5 about 20 days.
